Privacy Policy
How InsideCobb handles the information you share with us. Last updated May 11, 2026.
This Privacy Policy explains how InsideCobb ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you visit insidecobb.com (the "Site"), apply to list a business, or contact us through the Site. By using the Site you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Who we are
InsideCobb is a curated local-business directory for Cobb County, Georgia, operated by Idarity Solutions(the "Operator"). For any privacy-related questions you can reach us at info@insidecobb.com.
2. Information we collect
We collect three categories of information:
- Information you give us. When you submit the Apply form, the Contact form, or any other form on the Site, we collect the fields you fill in, typically your name, email address, phone number, business name, business category, business address, business website, and a description of your business.
- Information about your business listing. If your application is approved, the business information you submit (name, category, address, phone, hours, website, social links, photos, description) is published publicly on the Site. Personal contact information you submit during the application (your name, your personal email, your phone number) is NOT published unless it is also the public contact information for the business itself.
- Information we collect automatically. When you visit the Site we receive standard log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL, timestamps) and we use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns. We do not sell this data.
3. How we use information
- To review and respond to business applications.
- To respond to contact-form messages.
- To publish approved business listings on the Site.
- To send transactional emails about your listing (e.g., approval, listing edits, renewal reminders if applicable).
- To improve the Site, fix bugs, and prevent abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your personal information for third-party advertising.
4. Service providers we use
To operate the Site we share information with a small number of service providers that act on our behalf and under contractual confidentiality obligations:
- GoHighLevel. Our CRM and form-processing platform. When you submit a form on the Site, your submission is stored in GoHighLevel so we can review and respond to it. See GoHighLevel's privacy policy.
- Vercel. Our hosting provider. Vercel serves the Site and processes server-side request logs. See Vercel's privacy policy.
- Analytics. We use privacy-respecting analytics to measure aggregate Site traffic. We do not enable cross-site or cross-device user tracking.
5. Cookies
The Site uses a small number of first-party cookies for essential functionality (e.g., remembering whether you've dismissed a banner, session continuity). We do not use third-party advertising or retargeting cookies. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings; doing so should not break the Site's core functionality.
6. How long we keep information
- Approved business listings are kept as long as the listing is active. If you ask us to remove your listing, we remove it from the public Site within a reasonable time and delete associated records within 90 days.
- Application records and contact-form messages are kept for up to 24 months for record-keeping and abuse-prevention purposes, then deleted.
- Server logs and analytics data are kept for up to 12 months in aggregate form.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email info@insidecobb.com from the address associated with your records. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete that information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell personal information.
